Block-It® Internet Sweepstakes Official Rules:
1. No Purchase Necessary. To enter, navigate the Internet to www.block-it.com and click on the Sweepstakes link. Complete the Official Entry Form, then enter by clicking on the submit button. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 PM EST 1/14/02, when the sweepstakes ends. Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address.
2. Validations: Winners will be selected at random on or about 1/15/02, by a judging organization, whose decisions are final. Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules. Each potential winner will be notified by mail and may be required to sign, notarize and return within 10 days of delivery to his/her address an Affidavit of Eligibility, a travel release and a release for the use of his/her name and likeness for publicity purposes. Grand Prize winner's travel companion also will be required to sign a travel release. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, stolen or misdirected mail or entries or any failure or unavailability of electronic communications or Internet connections. Entries void if incomplete, not legible, or if they contain errors. Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend Sweepstakes if integrity of the Internet portion is compromised in any manner. All submissions become property of Sponsor.
3. Participation: Sweepstakes begins 9/10/01 and is open to residents of the 50 United States, or Washington, D.C., who are 18 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families of Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Kimberly-Clark Inc. (collectively, "Sponsor"), its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone involved in the production, development or handling of this Sweepstakes are not eligible. By entering, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the above entities, their employees, officers, directors and shareholders, and the prize suppliers, from all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries and expenses arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, use and/or misuse of prize. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. Subject to all applicable laws.
4. Prizes/Odds: The following prizes will be awarded: Three (3) Grand Prizes: A trip to the 2002 racing event. Trip consists of: round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) between Orlando, FL and major airport in continental U. S. nearest winner's home (ground transportation may be substituted if winner lives near Orlando or Daytona Beach); 4-days/3-nights double occupancy hotel accommodations at the Daytona Beach Hilton, two (2) tickets to a 2002 racing event, economy rental car for 4 days, (winner or travel companion must meet standard age, credit and other requirements for rental car; gas, excess mileage and insurance not included), $150.00 cash and a custom Block-It® car cover, (approximate retail value $3,000.00, actual value may vary depending upon departure city). Odds depend upon number of entries received. Sweepstakes open to over 30,000,000 Internet users. Winner must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and awarded to alternate winner. Limit one prize per household. No substitution or transfer of prize, except if any prize becomes unavailable Sponsor may award substitute of equal or greater value. Taxes and any expenses not listed above are responsibility of winners. If any winner is a minor, prize will be awarded to parent or legal guardian.
5. Prize Winner List: Visit www.block-it.com after 2/4/02 for the names of winners or mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit return postage) to: Block-It® Sweepstakes winners, P. O. Box 804, Southport, CT 06490 by 1/14/02.
